Laurent Dubreuil
Speed skater / Speaker
Laurent Dubreuil is unequivocally one of the greatest long-track speed skaters in history. A sprint specialist and former World Champion, the Lévis native has spent over a decade dominating the global stage. Dubreuil cemented his legendary status at the Beijing 2022 Winter Games by winning an Olympic silver in the 1000m, but it was his breathtaking performance at the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympics that truly defined his legacy. At 33 years old, ans as the oldest skater in a fiercely competitive field, he temporarily shattered the Olympic record to capture a highly coveted bronze medal in his signature 500m distance. It was the ultimate display of grit and perseverance after a challenging season. Yet, despite his extensive collection of world titles, records, and Olympic hardware, Laurent remains exceptionally grounded. As a devoted father of two, he races not just to win, but to inspire his children, proving that while speed is his profession, his family and his core values will always be his greatest triumphs.
